IRD, an international non-profit organization supporting peace building in Indonesia, seeks exceptional individual for our project, which continues to Feb 2011 and possibly to 2013, as follows;

East Indonesia Program Manager (Palu, Sulawesi)

Direct and manage SERASI’s program operations in Central Sulawesi in first year, with expected expansion to Maluku and Papua (this office may relocate to Makassar in the 2nd year). Ideal candidate will have experience in a combination of the following: post-conflict peace building, community development, and/or program management. Should have 10 or more years of relevant experience in an international organization; relevant graduate degree; USAID experience preferred.

We are looking for light-footed, quick thinking, competent individuals who can work independently as well as part of a small but dynamic team, and comfortable dealing with matters ranging from mundane to meaningful. Ideal candidate will also have excellent organization, social and communication skills, able to imbue all human exchanges with professionalism and positive good will.

Presumably you can do word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and email, undergraduate degree from a qualified, perhaps even international university; experience internationally or with international people and fluent English skills.
