Production Manager

Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in Indonesia working for a Multi-National Corporation
Familiar with Toyota Production System concepts
- Experience in capital equipment manufacturing environments highly preferred
- Technical, detail-oriented problem-solver
- Proven leadership and managerial skills, must have managed the Production function in a facility of at least 200 employees
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Fluent in Indonesian and familiar with the local culture
- Demonstrated team-player, able to build relationships both internally and externally
- Able to relocate to Bintan Island, Indonesia for a long-term job posting

Job description:
- Managing all Production related functions in the manufacturing facility, including Master Scheduling, Production Planning and Materials Requirements Planning
- Identifying and resolving problems and bottlenecks in any manufacturing process
Meeting established production output and quality targets
- Motivating all line supervisors and the entire work force
- Solving problems and leading growth and improvement at all levels
- Conducting performance appraisals for all production staff
- Review and analyzing production variances, wastages
- Strengthening inventory control procedures
