The British Embassy is recruiting one member of staff to join the Programme and Projects team, for the identification, management and monitoring of a range of projects in Indonesia dealing with Security Sector Reform related issues.

Candidates should have a good degree, speak excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia, have at least three years relevant experience of working in the field of Security Sector Reform. A strong knowledge of Indonesia’s history, geography, politics and culture would be useful.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and report writing skills, be motivated self-starters, and be able to work as part of a close-knit team. They will be flexible and able to work under time pressure.

The starting salary is 7m, but more could be offered to an exceptional candidate. The Embassy offers an attractive package of leave, training, medical cover and other benefits.
