Accounting Manager

Requirements:
- Male or female with age between 30–40 years old
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting from reputable university
- Have no less than 5 years experience in Managerial Level, preferable from retail or Industry Company
- Having experience in Public Accounting is a must (min. 1-2 years)
- Expert in SOP Company, cost accounting & general accounting
- Good analytical thinking, attention to detail and trustworthy
- Willing to work hard and have a strong leadership

Position is based in Medan and reports to Indonesian Country Program Manager. As Program Officer you would be responsible for development, preparation for approval, accompaniment, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and delivering lessons learned from relief and rehabilitation projects funded by LWR in Tsunami affected areas of Indonesia. The role of this position is to ensure that the projects are implemented in accordance with contractual and meets the highest standard of implementation.

Essential job requirements:
•    Commitment to LWR core values
•    At least six years experience in development programs, preferably with international NGO
•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or the equivalent, a master’s degree is highly desirable
•    Ability to work effectively with local government and non governmental organization & community based organizations
•    Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia with excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Governance Program Specialist

Our client, a global energy company listed in Fortune 100, is inviting qualified professionals to be part of their team as a Governance Program Specialist to support its operation in Indonesia. The objective of the program is to build local government capacity to govern effectively, transparently, and accountable. To date, the emphasis has been on particularly planning processes, performance-based budget interventions have primarily focused on training, mentoring and technical assistance. Going forward, it is anticipated that the program will include Government staff secondments, leveraged partnerships and increased contributions and ownership by local government.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Assist in conceptualizing, designing, negotiating existing and new governance activities with an emphasis on sustain ability, risk management, efficiency, and win-win returns to the Business.
• Coordinate a performance tracking and monitoring system on budget, contract, MoUs, and expenditures for the program.
• Ensure compliance of social investment commitments against the Integrated Social Impact Assessment (AMDAL), Government of Indonesia, and external panel requirements.
• Monitor program achievement against key performance indicators, milestones, and report progress against plans.
• Coordinate planning, processes that improve implementing partner performance and manage risk delivery and quality assurance through audits, evaluations, performance measurements and quarterly reviews.

Essential Criteria:
• Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably Masters Degree in Economics, Regional Planning, and Political Science, Business Administration or similar field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in managing Governance and/or development assistance projects preferably with field-based experience. Demonstrate ability to think strategically, conceptually but with strong grounding in realistic approaches.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written English.

Desirable Criteria:
• Direct work experience in Papua will be highly valued.
• Self-starter and solutions-oriented with strong analytical thinking and practical judgment.

Governance Officer (National)

Education:
* Master degree or Bachelor degree in political science, public administration, business administration, international development, or other related or relevant discipline

Experience:
*  Minimum of 5 years for Master degree and 7 years for Bachelor degree of practical and relevant professional experience in governance building.
* Experience in a range of issues / themes, such as public sector reform, public services, poverty reduction programming, gender mainstreaming and project planning and management.
* Understanding of the region, its local religions, cultures and economic conditions, and understanding of current political and economic policies in Indonesia
* Good participatory skills, including the ability to foster teambuilding and facilitate planning meetings and workshops.
* Working experience in Papua would be an advantage;
* High skill-level with computers, particularly in the areas of desk-top publishing, databases, and information management technologies;
* Experience working with Melanesian cultures is an advantage.

Language Requirements:
* Excellent spoken and written proficiency in English.
* Knowledge and fluency of Bahasa Indonesia and familiarity with Indonesian culture is desirable.
