A leading Shipyard and Offshore company in Batam Island is seeking suitably qualified candidates to join the company as;

Accountant

Qualification:
1. Must be a professionally qualified Chartered or Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience in an average/similar organization preferably with Project Accounting background.
2. Should have a fair knowledge of local tax issues and be able to independently deal with Tax Authorities and Auditors. Possess good planning, organizing and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Handle the day-today banking operations, maintaining the cashbook, preparation of bank reconciliations.
2. Deal with statutory tax issue, tax computation and filing of tax returns on a timely manner. If necessary seek assistance from External Auditors.
3. Liaise with External Auditors on planning and finalizing the annual audit.
4. Timely preparation of the Annual Budget - OPEX & CAPEX.
